vfPortee, founded 2004 is based in Sweden, and work with structured development efforts in Sierra Leone since 2007. The focus for the organization is education for children and young adults and health care for children together with projects focusing on children’s rights. The organization run a pre-school and primary school in Portee, a small village very close to Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. The school in Portee has 450 students, (350 in the primary level, 100 in nursery level) of which 158 are sponsor children.

Together for Better supports education in some of the most marginalized areas in the south-east of the Dominican Republic. The schools are run by local women, teachers and local foundations that aim to secure that marginalized children in their community get access to education. We are here to support them in that work. Together for Better supports schools that give extra attention to girls’ education. Our goal is that the children learn to read and write to be prepared for higher education in a state- funded school.

UNA, is an Austrian NGO and was founded in 2018. UNA assists women and girls in the Kerala region in the rural south of India by providing human and women’s rights education, career guidance, self-defence courses and medical assistance. UNA also perform surgeries for poor women and girls in the area.  

Together with local partners, UNA works to create a better future for women and girls putting in place structures to empower them to lead a better life. A life free from fear, in which they can achieve their goals and develop their full potential. 

Ssenyange Education Project is a non-profit organization with its registered office in Laholm, Sweden, aiming to support the Ssenyange Education Centre in Masaka, Uganda and projects that they are engaged in. The organization actively collects funds and distributes them in full to the school, they operate without administrative costs to work for the benefit of the school.

Together for charity works for less fortunate children in Asia and beyond, focusing on education and improvement of living conditions and support the following three projects Luang Prabang Orphanages, Laos, English School of Mui Ne, Vietnam and The Bread of Life Education Centre in northern Lebanon. A short description of our projects

The non-governmental organization was founded in Sweden 2004 with the name Vänföreningen Portee (Friends of Portee). The organization is working to develop the village of Portee in general, focusing on the children and together with this they also run a women project in a village named Kumra Bai Yoni. All of their projects are conducted together with their sister-organization in Sierra Leone, “Future of Sierra Leone”.

Blue Dragon kids are street kids, children with disabilities, children from rural families living in extreme poverty, and victims of human trafficking and slavery. Blue Dragon rescue kids from danger, reunite them with their families when possible, and provide all the services needed for recovery and growth. Blue Dragon never give up on any child, even the most complex cases.
